My musical objective is to play in a professional and musically creative situation.  I have years of musical experience; playing by ear or by reading music and chord charts; I can learn parts exactly from recorded music or just capture the feel and improvise as required.
I've created solid bass lines in different musical styles and different sizes of groups; swinging with big bands on concert stages to recording demos in the studio to buskin' for tips with a banjo player.  Blues, jazz, latin, classic R&B, rock, oldies, unplugged, country; covers or originals-it's all good to me, if it's played well and with feeling.  I have an affinity for vocalists and enjoy locking into the rhythm section to accompany the lead line of the music.  I can play finger style, slap and snap, or using a pick depending on the feel and sound of the tune; tastefully or balls to the wall.
The basses I'm currently using include:  Musicman StingRay 5-string, Musicman Sterling, Fender Mustang, Fender Precision and a Rickenbacker 3000.
My amplification equipment includes:  G-K MB150S, G-K 700RB Ampeg PB112H cabinet and a couple of Ampeg 115 cabinets.
